"I am the CEO of SPEKTRUM Health; a successful, growing, charity organization in Central Florida. We provide high quality primary care (medical and mental health) with a special focus on the needs of the LGBTQA+ community. As we have grown, we have had numerous construction projects that required attention. We struggled with a variety of contractors and found their communication and work ethic quite poor. When we were ready to open our second office (in Melbourne, FL) we found a great building, in a great location, but it was in severe need of updating and remodeling. "I would like to take this time to comment on your team that is working at the WDI–EPCOT Back of House Cast Flex Space project. I want you to know that I have not worked with your team before; they are all new to me. I too am new to the project having returned from Furlough not that long ago. I understand that this project has had considerable issues along the timeline, but what job doesn’t? It is all about how we react and recover from these issues. That is where I would like to start. I have been a Field Superintendent for WDI for some years now and have been in the business much longer as well. I came into the project as it was having a variety of issues. It is at this time that I met your team. I was introduced to your Forman, Dave. I observed that he took part in many of the conversations concerning framing and working up to the finished product. He provided highly valuable context and definitive answers on constructability. One of the best parts is that he was a good leader with his team. I can say this as I watched him work with his guys and provide accurate information for a quality build. This does not take anything from his team as it is the team that produced a product and there were almost no corrections needed. Included with this build, There were several situations dealing with “out of the ordinary structural steel” items that the team took care of with ease. Eventually they reached the point of hanging the Gypsum. This process went very smoothly. All of the guys seemed to work together cohesively to achieve each day’s work goal. One of the parts that I was impressed with is that as I might point out a minor flaw that would be seen later there were no questions - they fixed thing immediately. It was obvious to me that Dave and his team took good pride in their work and they all wanted to provide a quality product. The last big hurdle that came along was the fire wall extensions. Although there could have been a big squabble about that one issue, there wasn’t. All the fellows wanted to do was complete the work in a way that would be accepted. Once all the parties agreed on what the solution was, Dave’s team really impressed WDI with how they finished the job. Your team stepped up and handled the fix like the professionals that they are. All in all, I would be happy to have your team on jobs that I am involved in. Please make sure that your team knows I am very happy with their work!"

"Please thank the crew that worked at Station One today and compliment them on the way they cleaned up after they completed their work. We have had more than one contractor work in the station and leave a mess for the crews to clean. The Poli crew went above and beyond to clean up after themselves. Not only did they sweep up, the mopped the floor when they were finished. I think the floors were cleaner when they left than when they got here. I also noticed they covered everything in the gear lockers while they were patching the drywall. I know some of crews tend to be less than appreciative of the work that is done and the effort you and your guys put in to keeping our fire station in good repair. For what it’s worth I appreciate them jumping through our hoops with the temperature monitoring leaving the station better than they found it."
